Zack Arnold, PE
Mr. Arnold serves as the President and CEO of Infinity Natural Resources. Prior to Infinity, Mr. Arnold was employed as the General Manager of Operations for Northeast Natural Energy from 2014 to 2017. During his time with NNE, Mr. Arnold was instrumental in driving the growth and development of the company’s Marcellus Shale asset in Northern WV. Prior to joining NNE, Mr. Arnold held various roles at Chesapeake Energy including Drilling Engineer, Completions Superintendent and Operations Manager. During his time, Mr. Arnold was instrumental in the drilling, completion, and operation of Chesapeake’s unconventional wells including the initial horizontal wells in the Marcellus and Utica Shales. Before Chesapeake, Mr. Arnold began his career as a Production Engineer with Chevron in Bakersfield, CA where was exposed to the safety culture, operational excellence and the process oriented mindset of a major energy company.
Throughout his career, Mr. Arnold has assembled teams to execute on a variety of innovative development strategies. Mr. Arnold is a long time West Virginia resident and a graduate of Marietta College with a degree in petroleum engineering. He is section chair of the Northern West Virginia Chapter of SPE, a registered Professional Engineer and resides in Bridgeport, WV with his wife and his three children.
Executive Vice President, CFO
Mr. Sproule serves as an Executive Vice President and CFO of Infinity Natural Resources. Prior to Infinity, Mr. Sproule served as a special advisor to the President and Chief Executive Officer of Northeast Natural Energy from 2015 to 2017 focusing on strategic acquisitions, capital raises and asset divestitures. Before joining Northeast Natural Energy, Mr. Sproule was a Director at Tudor, Pickering, Holt & Company responsible for the company’s Upstream Appalachia M&A business. Before joining Tudor, Pickering, Holt & Company, Mr. Sproule was an Executive Director within the Global Energy group at UBS AG. During Mr. Sproule’s 15 year career, he has held various roles within investment banking, raising over $20 billion in capital across various high yield and term loan offerings, equity IPOs and follow on equity financings. In addition to his role in capital raising, Mr. Sproule has advised and participated in more than $5 billion in M&A activities across Appalachia during his career.
Mr. Sproule is a Connecticut native and a graduate of Yale College with a B.A. in history. He resides in Old Greenwich, CT with his wife and his two children.
Britney Crookshanks, CPL
Vice President, Land
Mrs. Crookshanks serves as Vice President of Land for Infinity Natural Resources. Mrs. Crookshanks has vast experience across the Appalachian basin. Her expertise covers the entire land process from identifying ownership, lease and acquisition negotiations and meeting curative requirements to clear wells. Mrs. Crookshanks has been on the ground floor of creating land administration and operation processes and procedures for land service providers as well as oil and gas exploration companies. Mrs. Crookshanks worked for Percheron Energy in the business development and marketing unit as well as Project Manager and In-house Prospect Manager for numerous E&P Companies active in our targeted focus area. Subsequent to Percheron, Mrs. Crookshanks served as a Manger of Land Operations for Northeast Natural Energy.
A graduate from Fairmont State University, she is a Certified Professional Landman (CPL) and a member of the American Association of Professional Landmen (AAPL), where she was a past-chairman of the Marketing Committee and member of the Education Committee. Britney serves on the board of directors as Vice President for the Michael Late Benedum Chapter of AAPL (MLBC). Britney has served on the MLBC for the last twelve years holding numerous positions on the board and chairing committees. She is also a member of the Northern Appalachian Landman Association (NALA) and Young Professionals in Energy (YPE) as well as Young Professional Women in Energy (YPWE). She resides in Morgantown, WV with her husband and two children.
Vice President, Operations
Mr. Costello serves as a Vice President of Operations of Infinity Natural Resources. Prior to joining Infinity Natural Resources, Mr. Costello was the Completions Manager for Northeast Natural Energy.
Beginning his career as a proprietor in the construction industry, he redirected his focus in 2009 to take advantage of rising opportunity in oil and gas within the Appalachian basin.
Mr. Costello joined Northeast Natural Energy in 2011 and was an integral part of all operations from construction of the first pad through the drilling of more than 50 horizontal wells. During this tenure, he held multiple positions in drilling, completions, and production to support the continual 50% year-over-year growth. His track record of conducting safe and efficient operations led to his advancement to Completions Manager. While at NNE, he was key in the implementation of extended lateral drilling and completions techniques that helped take average lateral lengths from 4,000 to 10,000+ feet during this time. His operational contributions consistently placed the company as a leader amongst its peers in $/Ft performance, while his technical contributions helped to support the regional-best EUR/ft return.
He currently serves as Program Chairperson for the Society of Petroleum Engineers, and is a contributing member to the American Association of Drilling Engineers and Independent Oil and Gas Associations of West Virginia and Pennsylvania.
Mr. Costello is a Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering graduate of West Virginia University. He currently resides in Morgantown, WV with his wife.
Ryan Warner, PE
Vice President, Business Development
Mr. Warner is a founding executive of Infinity Natural Resources and serves as Vice President of Business Development. Mr. Warner began his career with Chesapeake Energy in 2010 working as part of the production team in northeast Pennsylvania during the initial development of the Marcellus shale. Subsequently, Mr. Warner spent time in Oklahoma City as a member of the reservoir engineering group for the Anadarko basin performing asset evaluation in the Granite Wash, Cleveland, and Woodford plays. In 2012, Mr. Warner joined the Appalachian South team in Jane Lew, WV serving in multiple engineering roles in production, completion, and facilities for assets in the Marcellus and Utica plays. As a facilities engineer, he was instrumental in equipment design and sizing to improve production economics in the wet gas window of the Marcellus shale.
In 2014, Mr. Warner joined Northeast Natural Energy as a production engineer and was an integral part in growing the company's production to over 100 mmcf/d by year end 2016 while maintaining safe and environmentally conscious operations. Mr. Warner has extensive experience with compression, artificial lift, and other methods to improve well performance. In addition to production oversight, Mr. Warner helped with reservoir evaluation and assisted with midstream development projects at Northeast.
Mr. Warner is a registered Professional Engineer and holds a degree in Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering from West Virginia University. He currently resides in Morgantown, WV with his wife and two sons.
